Okay, I’ve just given Writely (now known by the clever name of Docs and Spreadsheets) a try and there were several surmountable problems.
The most serious is that it doesn’t accept docs over 500k. My freshly-saved novel is 708k, so it will obviously require some editing. I suspect they are in league with the devils in NY who insist on shorter novels.
