We have decided, upon much reflection, that having “a life” is overrated. Thus we have given ourselves over to full-time work. Also, it turns out that when the husband has an idea while in a fit of delirium, it can be good. Though, thinking back to various conversations, what he considers to be a good idea might also be construed as a way to keep us “busy.” As in not annoying him.
And busy we have been. Now we are going to sleep for a week while others show what they know. Today, the RomanceWiki launches (officially). It is, as you will see, only just begun, and we look to those with more knowledge and memory than us to help us build history the wiki way — yeah, yeah, yeah, grass skirts and coconuts and ukeleles. Not necessarily in that order.
But before you go off to add your five dollars, we would like to offer sincere thanks to the husband and Jill Monroe. Jill has amazed us with her ability to remember events that happened before she was born. And her recall for names is stunning. We should be so lucky when we’re her age!

Kassia, what a fabulous idea. I hope many romance writers/readers/lovers will contribute….And, by the way, what’s your secret for squeezing more hours into your day than the rest of us? Ever since I began reading Booksquare, I’ve wondered how you manage to keep up with all the wide-ranging websurfing you must have to do to keep up with so much in the publishing industry, while at the same time maintaining a day job and keeping up with your fiction writing. With the advent of the Romance Wiki, I can only assume that you are a speed-reader, a speed-typist, never eat, get by on 2 hours of sleep, have full-time household help (or live amidst piles of laundry, dishes, dustballs, etc.), and sit in front of the computer for 20 hours a day!

Elves, it’s all about elves. And really smart cats. It’s amazing how much reading a cat can do — though I have discovered that most felines are lousy spellers and require a lot of editing. Go figure.
Also, I don’t clean. Ever. That’s what men are for!
